The Chol Chol Foundation and Emily Joubert proudly present A Fall Trunk Show

¡Hola Bay Area Fair Trade Community!

In honor of Fair Trade month, I am writing to invite you to celebrate Mapuche Fair Trade craft from Southern Chile!

Fall 2010 marks the debut of the Chol-Chol Foundation's products into boutiques across the nation (*new Bay Area stores include Global Exchange SF, Emily Joubert Home & Garden, Spirit Rock Meditation Center of Marin, Prima in Santa Cruz, Leeder of the Pack in Palo Alto, and Fringe of Sacramento).

We are excited to announce that the elegant boutique Emily Joubert Home & Garden of Woodside, California, will be hosting a celebratory Trunk Show Benefit for the Chol-Chol Foundation to launch our our new design and development project, Project Chol Chol!

Enough said, now let's celebrate!

October 9th, 5:00 - 9:00
@ Emily Joubert Home & Garden

We are pleased to invite you to experience Mapuche craft and culture, explore how design can empower commercial justice, and take home hand-made eco fair trade products from the Chol-Chol Foundation!

The evening's activities will include
• Music by Bay Area Chilean folk musician Maria Loreto Ramirez
• A silent auction featuring hand-made, naturally dyed Mapuche art
• Hors d'œuvres and wine from Chile and California
• The exclusive opportunity to pre-order Project Chol Chol's new line of contemporary accessories before they're open to the public in 2011!
All funds raised through donations and sales from this trunk show will help enable the launch of PROJECT CHOL CHOL, our new "Mapuche modern" line of products, the CHOL CHOL FOUNDATION, and our amazing collective of women artisans!
